San Gabriel Valley Airport (KEMT), home of Squadron 21, Civil Air Patrol, California Wing

In the United States Air Force, the squadron is the principal organizational unit. An aggregation of two or more squadrons will be designated as a group and two or more groups will be designated as a wing. The El Monte Composite Squadron is part of Group 1 of the California Wing. Our squadron, also known by its designation, Squadron 21, is one of the oldest CAP squadrons in the California Wing, having been established in 1957. This means our squadron has 65 years of service to the nation, state, and Southern California Community. 

Our squadron is based at San Gabriel Valley Airport (KEMT) and meets in the main terminal meeting every Thursday from 1900 – 2100 (7:00pm – 9:00pm)
